• The beauties of Gobi

    Enjoy the land of two humped Bactrian camel, registered in World Red Book and experience the nomadic lifestyle traveling in the South Gobi. The Gobi Desert is one of the untouched, unique and mysterious place on earth. The incredible land is home to Argali-Wild sheep, Snowleopard, Hulan-Wild Ass, Gazelle, Havtgai-Wild Camel, Mazaalai-Desert Bear and Desert Ibex.
    Brief itinerary (6 days)
    Day 1. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar
    Day 2. Flight to Dalanzadgad. Drive to Bayanzag and Ulaan Ereg
    Day 3. Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes
    Day 4. Drive to Yoliin Am (Vulture Mouth)
    Day 5. Flight back to UB
    Day 6. Departure
    Day 1. Welcome to Ulaanbaatar
    Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city. Transfer to the hotel. City tour: Sukhbaatar square. Gandan Monastery. Bogd Khaan’s Winter Palace Museum. Choijin Lama Temple Museum. Zaisan Memorial Hill. Overnight in the hotel.
    Day 2. Bayanzag (Rich Saxual Forest)
    Early morning flight to Dalanzadgad, Umnugovi province (1h 30min). Drive to the legendary "Flaming Cliffs" named for the red-sandstone that glows a brilliant reddish-orange at sunset. The area holds an amazing number of dinosaur fossils. Overnight at ger camp.
    Day 3. Khongor Els
    Drive to Khongor Els, the largest sand dune and the real image of Gobi Desert. It stretches 180km long, 12 km wide. You can climb to the top of the dunes and then slide back down if you have a garbage bag handy. The sand dunes change the color from yellow to silver at dawn/sunset. The dunes make sound like plane engine in a windy day so locals call as ‘’Singing dunes’’. Camel riding to Seruun Bulag oasis (30 km) near Hongoriin gol (river). Overnight at camp.
    Day 4. Yol Valley (Vulture Mouth)
    Drive to Yoliin Am, 46 km west of Dalanzadgad. Lunch. Walk around and discover the place famous for its dramatic and very unusual scenery-it is a valley in the middle of the Gobi Desert with meters-thick ice even in middle of the summer. Nature Museum has a collection of dinosaur eggs and bones, stuffed birds and a snow leopard. Overnight at camp.
    Day 5. Ulaanbaatar
    After breakfast drive to Dalanzadgad and flight back to UB. Transfer to the hotel. Lunch. City tour. Shopping. Folklore: tsam danse-buddhist religious dancing, contortion, hoomii (throat singing). Farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel.
